Navigation menu appearance

To customize the appearance of all your navigation menus, use the Navigation Menu Appearance link on your Admin page.  There are three areas you can customize:

  1. General appearance (width, alignment, border style and color)

  2. Menu link display (color and style of an unselected navigation option)

  3. Highlighted link display (color and style of a navigation option that you have rolled your mouse over)

The settings you make here will affect all your navigation menus.  For example, when you choose a background color, you are choosing a background color for all of your individual navigation menus; you cannot choose different colors for different menus (which is good, because consistency is best on navigation menus).

As you make changes, you can always click the Preview Settings button at the bottom.  This will update the Preview graphic in the upper right and show you what your menus will look like with the current settings.  When you are satisfied with the look of your navigation menus, click Save Settings.  If you want to abandon your changes, click Cancel Changes.

NOTE: Cancel Changes will return you to the way the navigation menus looked the last time you saved.  Thus, you can change and preview multiple times, but if you don't save, then clicking the cancel button returns you back to the way your navigation menus looked before you started making changes.

NOTE: Do not forget to click Save Changes!  If you preview your changes, and then click on some other admin link, you will lose your changes.
