About the National Gas Rodeo

Take the challenge and join us for a fun and exciting competition between the best in the natural gas industry!

The National Gas Rodeo is the proving ground for the elite gas crews from across the United States. The intense competition and camaraderie of the Rodeo offer competitors an opportunity to showcase their skills and professionalism.

Why should your company participate in the National Gas Rodeo?

All team members should be familiar with the event descriptions, rules and drawings as well as the information contained in the General Rules and Key Points and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) sections.

Thursday
Four Points Sheraton, Fairview Heights
5:00-7:00 pm Rodeo Welcome Reception (food & beverages provided)

Friday
Everett Moody Park at Longacre
10:00 am-2:00 pm Mini-excavator, backhoe, and truck/trailer practice

12:00 pm-12:30 pm Break for lunch (on your own)

Four Points Sheraton, Fairview Heights
8:30-9:30 am Safety Training Course
4:30 pm Team & Volunteer Registration, Trade Time, Sponsor Displays
6:00 pm Dinner & Keynote Program, Prize Drawings
7:30 pm Head judge will be available for any questions after the Keynote program

Saturday
Everett Moody Park at Longacre
7:00 am Team Check-in
7:00-7:15 am Event Judges Meeting
7:15-7:45 am Volunteers, Timekeepers, and Event Judges Meet

8:00 am Qualifying Events
11:30 am Lunch
1:00 pm Wild Card & Relay Events

Scores & Awards Presentation in the Park!
Ceremony will start shortly after the last team finishes the Relay competition. Snacks provided, bring your own beverages.
